Ask and Receive gives women an anonymous and searchable place to see what other women were able to ask for and receive. For example, that may be how much they raised and how much equity they gave in return, perhaps they asked for a raise or created their own position, changed policies, etc. People say women can't negotiate for themselves and it's because we don't know where to negotiate from. Making these wins visible gives us the ability to see what's possible. We get to see the model of what can be.
many women don't believe it's OK to want which blocks her willingness to ask. When she does, her ability to receive is often combined with the need to defend, provide arguments and prove why she's worthy. that is the crux. If women owned their worth from a deep sense of knowingness and asked from a place of believing and allowing because they knew that of course, their ask is warranted and on its way, that would have huge, far-reaching impacts on everything.
when we put the information, the resources, the connections, and the money in the hands of the people who will consciously lead, we will change the way business works from the inside. And that's when we'll change economies, governments, society and the environment to support and reward all of us.
